This Pinot Noir is from our certified Organic and Biodynamic cool climate
estate vineyard west of the Santa Rita Hills, and fermented with indigenous yeast. This wine is made from specially selected lots which we feel are superior in their character and aromatics. The Pinot Noir clones used for this wine are 115, 667, and 777. Aged for 16 months in small Allier and Vosge French oak barrels and bottled unfiltered.
Medium-dark color with a purple rim. Aromas of cherry, violets, leather, spice and forest floor with toasty oak. Cherry fruit and spice flavors with moderate-medium tannins and a toasty oak finish. Enjoy with simple beef dishes like beef stew.
