This Syrah is from the Hallauer Vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley, which is farmed organically. It was fermented in small fermenters, punched down 3-times daily then pressed to French oak barrels where it rested for 24 months softening and adding depth of character, it was then bottled unfiltered.
This dark Syrah offers aromas of plum and subtle spicy aromatics. Spicy, jammy fruit flavors and big tannins round out this rich wine. Enjoy with beef dishes.
